iLife '06 and iWork '06 Now Available in the Freedman Center

Apple's new iLife '06 and iWork '06 are now available for you to use on the Apple machines in the Freedman Center.

The iLife suite includes updated versions of iPhoto, iMove HD, iDVD, GarageBand (now with a built-in podcasting tool), and a new piece called iWeb. The iWork suite includes Pages 2 and Keynote 3.

Podcasting from France, via Skype

Justin Locsei, via Skype from France, tunes in for our first Skype podcast! Justin Locsei is the interim manager of the Language Lab in the Freedman Center. This is a great proof-of-concept illustrating how one can interview someone anywhere else in the world. International calls are free and secure via Skype, and are easily recorded and published online for free at the Freedman Center.
