Creighton Case

WIth the Creighton case, I learned a bit about how discrimination is treated in the work place. It seemed from the case, and from places I have been employed at, that most people want to dodge the subject of racial discrimination. Most people simply do not want to deal with it, and the ones that do are afraid to say anything. People need to be judged on how well they can perform a job, not their gender, color, religion, etc.. Also, it hurts the companies to discriminate some people, as they would no doubt be great assets to them.

I completely agree with you. In a perfect world, no one would discriminate in the workplace. Unfortunately it happens, and some people think keeping their jobs is more important than taking a stand for something like that. I think it happens a lot more than is reported. I also think some employees may say or do things less obvious than CHAMPS did, but it is still racial descrimination. It's unfortunate.
