In an upcoming stockholders meeting for Google, it will be voted on whether or not Google will do away with its two class stock structure. With such a structure there are two stocks, A and B. B stocks give their holders 10 votes for each share, and A gives one vote. The three executives are the only ones carrying B class stocks, so they will easily vote this down. Many claim they are just looking out for the company, they trust the current executives, but have reservations about possible heirs getting control and running the powerful company into the ground. Even if the two class structure was done away with, there is no way anyone would oppose the executives as they have led to company to great things. It seems more that the execs are simply insecure at the moment, which can hurt confidence in the business.
