Deadline is March 28 for Discounted Tickets for Mandel School Night at Beck Center on April 4

night-Mother-JPEG.jpg The Mandel School hosts its Second Annual Evening at the Theater on Friday, April 4, at Lakewood's Beck Center for the Arts for a performance of multi Tony award-winner, 'night Mother.

'night, Mother is the emotional exploration of a mother's and daughter's views of whether life is worth living. It won four Tony Awards on Broadway and the 1983 Pulitzer Prize for drama. A proposed Broadway revival is rumored to star Oprah Winfrey. -more-

Curtain is at 8 pm; a pre-performance lecture is at 7 pm. Jeff Riskin, MSSA, LISW-S, will lead the lecture. It will focus on the aftermath of suicide and its impacts on clients, their families and licensed professionals. 3 CEUs are available for social workers and counselors who attend the lecture and performance. Dessert and coffee will be served before the lecture.

Beck Center for the Arts is located at 17801 Detroit Ave., Lakewood. Parking is free.

Tickets for this performance only have been discounted for Mandel School students, alumni, faculty and staff. In celebration of CWRU's Graduate/Professional Students Week, all Case graduate students are invited as special guests at the discounted ticket rate.
