Writing

Writing is one of the most important skills that students learn in school. At least, that is what the teachers have always said. I only recently realized that writing actually is quite important. Particularly among managers in the business world, communication skills are highly valued. Ineffective communication can lead to misunderstandings, which can have a strong effect on efficiency and productivity. I think that stressing writing skills among students can have a very positive effect on their future careers and successes throughout life.

I agree with your comment about writing. For me, it is easy to have an idea in your head, but it is hard for most people to express that idea either verbally, or on paper. Writing is a huge part of a business experience.

Sean, I believe writing is very important as well. I learned just how important it was with my Harrah’s Casino case grade. Writing is important in almost any career you take up in life. I hope to sharpen up my writing skills in my MGMT250 and SAGES classes. You can not always rely on spell check your whole life. Writing is a skill that will stay with you forever and always be useful.
