Starting Today, I Am Self-employed
When I was working in the Freedman Center I took calls fairly regularly from people looking for someone they trust and feel comfortable around to work on their computer. Taking classes, managing a center with 15 staff members, and doing consulting on the side really used up my time. Rather than trying to stop people from calling me, I decided this was a good problem and chose to resign my position at the Freedman Center.
This is something I have wanted to do for a long time but have never been in a financial position do so. I am finally where I need to be and am going to give it a try. Worst case scenario I learn a lot and don't make much money, but the best case scenario is only limited by my imagination and ability to realize it.
I will still be around campus as an undergraduate and will probably graduate in May of 2008. If you ever have a question and need to find me, feel free to visit my website. Thank you to everyone that has supported me and allowed me to get to this point in my life! This change is a huge step for me.

Take care and good luck, Aaron.

Hey, congratulations on the big move! Kudos for taking the big leap, not many people would be able to do that. Best of luck to you!

Good luck, Aaron! It was always a pleasure working with you.
Make sure to keep a blog somewhere, though, so we can keep up with how your self-employment is going.

Good luck.
Can you help me connect to your university's free IPTV service?
