Students relax and explore during Fall Break

For Case students, last week marked the halfway point of fall semester. The downside: late nights at the library cramming for exams, churning out papers and practicing presentations. The upside: Fall Break, a four-day weekend to de-stress and re-energize for the next six weeks of classes.

While some students went home to visit with family and old friends, the campus was far from deserted. Many Case students chose to spend the break exploring University Circle and Cleveland. This was a perfect time to see the sights, because even though our student U-passes give us access to the RTA buses and light-rails system for the whole semester, the upcoming winter weather is sometimes a deterrent.

Forty-two lucky students traveled to Montreal, Canada with the University Program Board, a student-run organization that plans fun events for the campus community. Other students informally road tripped to destinations including Washington, D.C., Maine, and Columbus, Ohio.

With Fall Break over, however, students are back in classes and counting down the days until Thanksgiving!
