It is Mac, not MAC!

I'm an Apple "fanboy". I drink the cool-aid, and I love it. I'm quite happy that the Macintosh platform is getting some (well deserved) attention, but I'm tired of people using the term 'MAC' when they mean Mac, or even Macintosh.

Just for fun, I decided to see if wikipedia had any reference to the Apple Macintosh under the MAC entry, and as of today, there is no such entry. Check it out yourself.

Even Digg readers (usually more techy) use the term MAC. I'm not sure what to do about it, but it really "grinds my gears", and I had to get it off my chest.

Relaxe, take another sip of coolaid, stroke your nice white plastic, finger your iPod and just get over it.
