It requires 20 sign-ups, and these aren't always the easiest things to get. We are currently looking into making a little incentive for people to sign up, and I'm curious if anyone wants to participate.

The idea, as of now, is to randomly select one of the 20 people that have signed up under us to win an iPod nano (2GB). We would only give it away to one of the 20 people that have completed their offers, and it would be limited to the first 20 people to sign up and complete the offer, as it shows up on the status page. The iPod would only be given away AFTER the 20 people have signed up. We would contact the winner by email (as it shows the emails of the people under you).

Depending on how this goes, we may do this a second time (so my friend and I both get one), so if it is popular, you'll have a chance to get in on this if you weren't one of the first to sign up for the first contest, you could take part in the second.

Let me know your thoughts on this. Most of the offers cost about $10 (or free if you sign up for the discovercard or stamps.com and cancell), so its like buying a raffle ticket for $10 with great odds (1/20 ain't bad at all for a raffle).

I have a few problems though.

1) Engraving is free, so I want to get something sweet on the back, but I have to be careful because I heard they will reject some of your ideas (methodshop.com). If you have any ideas, feel free to post them
2) I need to sell my old iPod 3G 20GB. I plan on using the money from this to buy a case and some accessories, as I want to keep the new iPod nice. I was thinking about the case from Pods Plus (podsplus.com) and the accessory that allows me to hook the case up to my windshield for car mounting.
3) Lastly, MWSF is coming soon, and there is a chance that a new upgraded version (or something) of the iPod may come out, so I have to wait. The wait is killing me =P.

Hopefully I can settle all of this soon and get a new iPod. I'm psyched about the video capabilities. Imagine: All the South Park, Family Guy, Aqua Teen, (Insert TV Show here) episodes on the iPod, plus all my music.
