Pixel art
I saw Ben's blog entry earlier today about favicons for blog.case.edu and planet.case.edu and I was inspired. I'm not a graphic designer by any stretch of the imagination, but I enjoy a graphical challenge every now and then, so I decided to see how many Case IT services I could represent with 16x16-pixel icons while maintaining a common theme. Now I want to know if I was successful. How many can you identify?

These icons aren't ready for prime time, and I'm not suggesting they actually be used... (as I said, I am not a graphic designer.)

Jeremy, yes, you can use them if you want. Let me know if you want more or if some of them need to be changed.
The clock is linked to Scheduler Jones, it could also work for schedule.case.edu. Since this was just an exercise, I made some for student-run services (home, scheduler, photos) as well as ITS ones and others.

Those are excellent, Andrew! I think they represent the services perfectly, while maintaining the square, white and blue theme, and professional! I hope they (or others that you make) get put to use too!

(BTW, I can recognize mail, filer, home.cwru.edu, the portal, forum.case.edu, help.case.edu, and blackboard. I am confused as to what the clock one represents.)
