Let the work begin

Wow! I never knew there would be this much work involved in school. I never studied in high school but that has now changed. I have tons of reading to do.

And I'm not exagerating. I've spent all of Monday, Tuesday, and Today when I haven't been in class studying. I had articles and passages to read for SAGES, a Physics Lab Write-up to finish, Calculus practice problems to try, Music Theory workbook pages to complete, and practicing to do. It is around 11:00 right now and I am not finished with my work yet. The biggest issue is that I am in class until around 6:00 three days a week without significant breaks in the middle of the day to get any work done so I end up trying to finish all of it later in the evening. Let me just say I can hardly wait until this friday when I get a few days off from work and some of us go to see "The exorcism of Emily Rose." It looks really creapy. I can hardly wait! Until later, thanks for reading.

I remember those days! I recall, during grad school, how I felt an almost perverse sense of satisfaction about how overworked I was. I was paying for school out of my own pocket, so I think I would have been disappointed if I hadn't been pushed to my limit. Even so, I don't think I'd want to do it again.

Of course, that was grad school. As an undergrad I was lazy and managed to avoid most of the classes that would have required me to apply myself. I'm glad to hear you're not making the same mistake.

And most of all, I'm glad you're managing to squeeze in time for blogging!
