I would like to hear more about what is going on with the financial crisis at the unviersity. I've read multiple messages posted on other threads asking for information and noticed that lack of administration response. I have recently received two requests for donations for the alumni campaign--before I give anything though, I would like clarification on what is being done at the University. So my request is for more news about the steps being taken to fix the present financial crisis.

Does anyone from the administration actually read our postings or are we simply wasting our time here on this blog? What is happening at CWRU, especially when the recent news of the CAS, Weatherhead, Engineering, and Medical deans are taken into consideration. Hello.....anyone there really care what the alums think?

How can I unsubscribe to this almninews? I tried, but nothing changes.I was interested when the news was about the University,the Pres. and Board,but have no interest in what alumni are reading.

I would like to know what the status is of the Brandname Task force that was initiated by Interim President Gary Eastwood back in late September, 2006. As reported by the Observer on October 6th, the then president floated the idea of yet another branding name change. The Observer reporter stated that "Eastwood proposed the idea of vertically writing the university's full name with the word Case in italics on banners." What is the status of this task group and their report and why were alumns not notified of this effort?
