Your car is greener than your pet. Oh really?
Yeah it is about this article:
How green is your pet? - environment - 23 October 2009 - New Scientist
While almost all the numbers here are arguable, I'm more skeptical about converting the energy consumption of a gasoline vehicle to the equivalent amount of land usage. The numbers in this article just don't add up.

Book tearing in Taiwan
Here is a disturbing news about a comic tearing incident happened in my home country, Taiwan.
Earlier this month, the Fengyuan City Library, a public library, announced that among the 8000 books of its legally-rated-for-everyone comic collection, 2000 were removed from the shelves for an indefinite time because of materials "not suitable for junior readers". As for the rest of the comic books, all "minorly improper" contents are covered by opaque tapes or teared.

Memorial Day, Flying Tiger, and the National flag of ROC (Taiwan)
Two picture of the 2009 Memorial Day Parade caught my attention. The first one shows the National flag of ROC (Taiwan) among the "World War II Allied Nation Flags" team. The second one features the Taiwan sponsored "We Salute Our Flying Tiger Heroes" team.
What's interesting is, there is no ROC Taiwan national flag on the on the second picture, instead there are Taiwan maps everywhere, even on the USA flags.

What does the advisor REALLY mean?
You have some good ideas here, but they are not completely coming through to the reader.
--> They are REALLY poorly written.
They are looking better, but I still had some questions and suggestions.
--> They are still bad.
These look good. I think you are ready to submit them after you make some small changes to the wording.
--> I'm tired of this. YOU CAN NOT EVEN SPELL!!

Wondering what's the picture in the new iPhone AD about?
In the new iPhone AD ("It is Just the Internet"), from about 00:12 to 00:16, there is a picture on the screen of the iPhone, showing several people holding a board with chinese words on it.

First post
Here, I'd like to tell you something about my homeland, Taiwan. I'm not going to just tell you how good Taiwan is, as some people do. I'm not going to tell you how bad Taiwan is, as some other people do. I'll just talk about some, hmm, things, happen in Taiwan, and you can tell me how you think (or feel) about them.
For English is not my native language, I'm sure there will be (or maybe, there already are) some language mistakes in this blog. Please don't hesitate to tell me about them.
In the next post, I'll tell you about a song.
