Lyric: Nature and Man-made Disasters
Take a look of this page first: http://zonble.twbbs.org/archives/2007_06/942.php#more-942
It is one of my friends' blog. You can download the .mp3 file at the beginning of that post. Don't worry, it is totally legal.
Please listen to the song before you go further on this post. Don't worry about the language, we'll talk about it later.

You done? Good. I'll try to translate the lyric now. I don't know how good it will be. I'll try, anyway:
Nature and Man-made Disasters
Perhaps one day the boss will empty the account of the company,
perhaps one day inspection and adjustment guys will seize and hold the company in custody.
Firstly there would be an overnight interrogate then MJIB might legally transfer the case.
Perhaps one day a crocodile would bite your arm off,
or someone would put stones on the railway rail
--unexpectedly, this person might be your husband,
or your wife.
Perhaps one day --
I would go falling into the river,
you would go falling from the building.
I would make myself drowned,
you would upturn from the cliff.
If not falling into the mountain valley, then it would be the ravine to go.
Tomorrow, we -- will be accompanied by more gathering, parting and unexpected meeting.
And will meet more nature and man-made disasters, but
never mind. Tonight, how much can you drink?
Perhaps one day you would become the next Wu San-Jou,
with bullet holes all over your body.
And all the television stations in the country would be pursuing your relatives and friends.
Perhaps one day I would also get up in an Apple-Daily front page,
Shown in the schematic drawing would be my hateful and dreadful face.
When that day come, how would you describe me to them?
Perhaps one day--
My home would suffer steals, your home would be stolen too.
My home would catch fire, your home would be buried in the earth-stone-flow.
If it was not a landslide, then maybe mountain torrent will do.
Tomorrow, we -- will be accompanied by more gathering, parting and unexpected meeting.
And will meet more nature and man-made disasters, but
never mind. Tonight, how much can you drink?
Gee,
my younger female cousin rode a motorbike home one day,
and a big freight vehicle ran over her.
My aunt went to Phuket and was taken away by a billow.
My father's younger brother's family, of four: men and women, old and young,
remain in the Chinese Airline CI676 forever. Sometimes
I feel that the meaning of life is just
to be alive so someday you can die.
For example, in order to be hit by thunder in the field
I deeply love playing baseball.
In order to be poisoned by carbon monoxide
I eat hot pots in my room.
The world is wide
with thousands of paths for you to chose.
But in the end
we all have
the same end.
Perhaps one day --
I would be kidnapped, you would be robbed.
I would be threaten, you would be extort by the creditor's agents.
If we had not turned into corpse blocks, maybe our corpses could be whole.
Tomorrow, we -- will be accompanied by more gathering, parting and unexpected meeting.
And will meet more nature and man-made disasters, but
never mind. Tonight, how much can you drink?
On today --
I already understand, you do too
any thing we pursue will be shattered easily one day.
"Although I still haven't found what I'm looking for."
Tomorrow, we -- will be accompanied by more gathering, parting and unexpected meeting.
And will meet more nature and man-made disasters, but
never mind. Tonight, how much can you drink?
Want to add some garlic sauce?
Want another plate of sliced goose meat?
All the hot stir fries are 99 dollars [about 3 USD] a dish.
Never mind. Tonight, how much can you drink?
By the way,
you are not going to drive, right?
How much can you drink?
You are not going to drive, right?
Don't be like that... Shino [a pop star in Taiwan, ran over and killed a person by her car when she was drunk], whom we've talked about last time.
---
The song sounds pretty bright, but the lyric is not. Although some of them sounds weird, all the death and crimes mentioned in this song are ture, sometimes even common in Taiwan. (I wonder how US people think about those stuff? Is it weird for you, or maybe it is no big deal, for you US people also have many other weird ways to die?) Yes this song is ridiculous, but now and then I feel that it is as ridiculous as life itself.

I think people die strange deaths everywhere, and this song shows how similar people are across the globe. We all (most?) wish to die in our sleep of old age, but no one really knows what will bring their end.
For another example of strange deaths, you may want to read the Darwin Awards. These are given to people who have died because of their own ignorance, dying in ways they could easily have avoided.
