Students selected to serve in 2008 Summer Corps program

Case Western Reserve University School of Law students Elisabeth Christensen, Benjamin Faller, Melissa Kline, Daniel Leathers and Kari White have been accepted into the 2008 Summer Corps program.

This competitive program offers first- and second-year law students the opportunity to receive a $1,000 AmeriCorps education voucher by completing 300 hours of service for a nonprofit public interest organization.

As Summer Corps members, these students will provide legal assistance to underserved communities while receiving first-hand experience and legal skills.

The School of Law members will work on issues such as workers’ rights, housing/homelessness, domestic violence and consumer rights.
