Homecoming and Alumni Weekend 2009

Homecoming and Alumni Weekend 2009, October 21-25, promises to be an exciting weekend with something for everyone. There are several ways the campus community can get involved:

  • Sign up for the inaugural Homecoming 5K Race. Pre-register by Friday, Oct. 16, or register the day of the race on Saturday, Oct. 24. All proceeds will benefit the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Scholarship, which will be awarded to an undergraduate student;
  • Campus departments and residence halls are invited to participate in the Annual Office/Residence Hall Decorating Contest. To be entered into the contest, e-mail crb3@case.edu by Oct. 16 Campus community members can show their spirit by wearing the school's colors on Blue and White Day, Friday, Oct. 23. And the entire campus community is invited to attend SpiritFest on Friday, Oct. 23, in the Thwing Center atrium. The event will feature free food, music and lots of entertainment;
  • Bring your family to campus to attend the parade, tailgate and football game on Saturday, Oct. 24. Faculty, staff and students will be admitted into the game for free, while tickets for guests are only $3. Watch the Spartans take on Hiram College; and
  • Make sure to visit the Homecoming Web site to view a complete list of activities. Dozens of events are taking place around campus, so mark your calendar for the ones you might find of interest.
