      <title>Mortality Weaves its Way Through CWRU Poet&apos;s Green Is The Orator</title>

      <description>With the University of California&apos;s publication of Sarah Gridley&apos;s Green is the Orator, her recent nomination for a Carl F. Wittke Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, and a recipient of a $20,000 Creative Workforce Fellowship from Cuyahoga County&apos;s Community Partnership for Arts and Culture, the Case Western Reserve University poet and assistant professor of English says 2010 is off to a good start. Green is the Orator follows five years after her first publication, Weather Eye Open. The public will have the opportunity to hear Gridley read selections from her two volumes of poems during Writer&apos;s Week on Monday, April 19, from 8-9:30 p.m. in Guilford House Parlor.

More than 350 scholars from 19 countries and 5 continents will meet for the 25th anniversary convention of the International Society for the Study of Narrative. The meeting is organized by Case Western Reserve University&apos;s English Department and its Center for the Study of Writing, and directed by CWRU English Professor Kurt Koenigsberger. </description>
