John L. Anderson, currently provost of Case Western Reserve University, will be the eighth president of Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), announced the IIT Board of Trustees, chaired by John W. Rowe, president and CEO of Exelon Corporation. Anderson will assume his duties on August 1, 2007.

Case students, community show support for Virginia Tech

On Friday, April 20, dozens of Case Western Reserve University students and other members of the campus community became honorary "Hokies" in spirit. They wore maroon and orange -- the Virginia Tech school colors -- in a show of solidarity and support. To remember and honor fellow students, faculty, staff and administrators who lost their lives or were injured at Virginia Tech earlier this week, several of Case Western Reserve's student organizations joined together to create a large "card" and a campus photo.
