      <title>Third-Year Nursing Student Volunteers Medical Services  to Rural Dominican Republic Villages</title>

      <description>Third-year nursing student Eduardo Locci from Rocky River, Ohio, aspires to fly high in the skies someday as a flight nurse caring for trauma patients. But this summer he was grounded in a remote rural area of the Dominican Republic.  He spent two weeks assisting the full-time medical team of a doctor and two nurses from a clinic called A Mother’s Wish in Los Pajones, a 30-minute drive from Santiago.

      <title>New Alumnus Earns Fulbright Teaching Grant to Egypt</title>

      <description>Nicholas Hilgeman wants to teach English, speak fluent Arabic and learn more about the culture and political processes of the Middle East. Hilgeman, who earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies and political science in May, plans to do all of this and more with his Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Grant. He is scheduled to spend at least nine months working at Zagazig University, located about 50 miles from Cairo, Egypt.
