Introducing the New CSR Blog!
Welcome to the official blog of the Committee of Student Representatives (CSR) at the School of Medicine! We will be posting events, announcements, weekly news, and other student-related things in this space. We hope this will eventually replace mass emails as the main way to get news out to students. Feel free to give us feedback on this blog via the comments!

Joke of the Week :-D
A man calls his boss and says, "I can't come in to work today because I'm sick. I have anal glaucoma." The boss says to him, "Hmm, that's weird. I have never heard of anal
glaucoma before. Will you be OK? What exactly does that mean?" The man responds, "It means I don't see my butt coming into work today."

Welcome to the First Year Class!
First Year Students,
You've made it! CSR (Committee of Student Representatives, i.e. student government) would like to extend a warm welcome to you as you begin your medical career at Case Med! We hope orientation is just as fun for you guys as it was for us ;). If we haven't yet, we hope to meet you when we get back to campus in August.
We just wanted to say a quick hi to you all, and leave you with one short piece of advice: ENJOY BLOCK 1. Get to know your classmates, host dinner parties, explore Cleveland, and just have lots of fun. You will be glad you did in September, when you're buried under a pile of books and wondering how you managed to sleep and play so much just a few weeks ago.
Again, best of luck, and welcome to Case!

CSR Newsletter: Week of July 16-22
Welcome, Case Class of 2011 and CCLCM Class of 2012!
We hope you are enjoying your first week here! There's a lot to take in, but you'll get into the groove of things in no time. As many of you are already aware, the Committee of Student Representatives (CSR) is essentially the student government at Case. We serve as a liaison between students and administration, organize community service and social events, fund many of the student organizations at Case, and much more. This weekly newsletter (which usually comes out on Sunday evenings) is a way to list and compile the major events that are occurring each week at school, at the Cleveland hospitals and on the Case campus. It is also a forum for announcements (please send to apj10@case.edu) and birthday listings (and for the new students, we will be adding your names and birthdays in very soon!). As listed in the upcoming events section below, we will be holding an activities fair on Friday, August 10, where student organizations will have information on what they do and how you can participate. We strongly encourage you to join several groups and get involved with the Cleveland community! For more information, see: casemed.case.edu/csr or email apj10@case.edu . Thanks and good luck!
Sincerely,
Anandhi Jeyabalan
President, CSR
