JAMA Reports English Healthier Than Americans
A new article in JAMA reports that although Americans spend more than their British counterparts for health care incidents of hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, myocardial infarction, stroke, lung disease, and cancer are higher in the U.S.
While the authors do link their results to SES status they do not offer up any behavioral issues that might contribute to the lesser health status in Americans.
