Compensations
From our HR simulation, I was able to see different affects of the different compensations we gave to our company. I was able to see that money wasn’t the only thing a worker looked for. Even though our direct pay were few hundred dollars lower than the industry average, our workers did not complain. In fact, our morale increased and our turnover decreased. The complaints we got were usually from other HR issues dealing with EEO and AA. We realized that workers were more dissatisfied with their work environment. Therefore, instead of the increasing worker’s pay, or meeting the in industry average for salaries, we decided to put a large amount of our money on fringe benefits We also decided to follow the Employee Stock Ownership Plan for the new compensation plan for employees to feel part of the owner of the business as they would also receive bonuses through stocks. It was helpful as we were able to experiment different types of compensation through the HR simulation.

The information Professor Powley give to us during class about Hygiene and Motivator is a very useful tool for HR simulation. I think when your goup is making decision, take that date's information into consideration will be a very helpful action.
