HR Meeting/Class
Tonight we held another HR Simulation meeting to discuss this week's case and to prepare for our team plan on tuesday. Overall, the meeting was successful as always. Our goals are being reached while we are trying constantly to keep up with the demands of the industry.
Today in class we discussed ethics in the workplace and how unethical behavior can get you fired from a job. Professor Powley presented us with some examples and he asked us whether or not we would act "ethically" or "unethically". The main lesson I learned today was that issues pertaining to ethics are not black and white. There are fine gray areas that need to be considered in order to decide if you are acting ethically.
