Sleep & Health Program

The focus of the collaboration is to raise the awareness of healthy sleep habits. To achieve that goal, materials are being developed for primary and elementary school children illustrating the hazards of too little sleep and the benefits of sufficient sleep. For older children, the connection between proper sleep habits and safe driving will be emphasized. School nurses, teachers, and administrators will be trained to identify and deal with the signs of sleepiness.
