Discover Nursing Mentoring Program
Discover Nursing is a program created to mentor junior and senior high school students in planning for a nursing or health related professional career. It involves Garrett Morgan Middle School and the Health Careers Center magnet school in Cleveland and is designed to increase nursing education opportunities for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, specifically, African American (AA) and Hispanic American (HA) persons, by providing pre-entry preparation, and retention activities designed to assist them to become professional nurses.
