The SARS 2004 Preparedness Conference

Provided an opportunity for professionals across multiple disciplines to increase their public health and patient management skills based on lessons learned from the SARS 2003 outbreak. Participants learned what infrastructure arrangements that are in place and what procedures should be followed on a regional and worldwide basis, to most effectively control the return of SARS during this coming season of respiratory infections.
