The School Visitation Program

This is a hands-on program designed to reinforce concepts and field methods in the areas of environmental science and ecology for middle and high school students. Participating teachers and their classes receive pre- and post-visit curriculum packages to help prepare their students for the visit and to reinforce concepts in the classroom. Because of the intense nature of the visit, great consideration is given to these pre- and post-visit materials for use in the classroom. The ongoing program serves between 10 to 12 local schools yearly.
