Gospelfest Concert Celebration

The university hosted its First Annual Gospelfest Concert Celebration during the 2006 Alumni Weekend and Homecoming. Sponsored in partnership with the Office of Alumni Relations, the festivities took place at the beautifully restored John Hay Campus. The Honorable Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones and Case alumna served as the Honorary Chair. National gospel recording artists and Case alumna, Kelly Chapman, served as our Mistress of Ceremonies. Guests enjoyed a southern brunch and performances by the following local gospel groups: The Cleveland School of the Arts' R. Nathaniel Dett Concert Choir; Case Western Reserve University's Voices of Glory; The Prayer Warriors; WKYC TV3 Reporter and Violinst, Obie Shelton and New Community Bible Fellowship.
