Reigniting the Dream, Re-engaging our Youth

The Call & Post Newspaper sponsored a community lecture in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. called “Reigniting the Dream, Re-engaging our Youth” at the university’s Ford Auditorium. Interim President Gregory Eastwood shared welcome remarks along with Glen Shumate, President of the Call & Post Newspaper and Honorary Chair, Peter Lawson Jones, Cuyahoga County’s Board of Commissioners. The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Eugene Sanders, Chief Executive Officer of the Cleveland Municipal School District who spoke about his passion and commitment to reengage our youth to reach their full potential academically and in life.
