NEO CANDO-Northeast Ohio Cleveland Area Network for Data and Organizing
NEO CANDO is a free, interactive web-based system containing a variety of data on social, economic and health-related conditions. Census, vital statistics and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data are available for 17 Northeast Ohio counties. Users can extract data at the census tract, city, village or township level or for an entire county. They can generate a table for printing, download the data into EXCEL for further analysis or generate a map. Website visitors should begin their use of NEO CANDO at the User's Guide, which provides detailed information about extracting and using data, and step-by-step instructions to generate maps in the NEO CANDO system. The guide includes information about each of the data sources, how the indicators in NEO CANDO are calculated, precautions and caveats about each of the sources and a list of the indicators from each source that are included in NEO CANDO.
