A majority believe God or a supreme being played a role in the origin of man.

There's a difference in believing that a supreme being had a hand in man's creation and believing that that should be taught in science classrooms. I personally believe that, yes, God did create everything. But I also believe that evolution is the method he used. Do I think that teachers should be teaching in science classrooms that God made man? Absolutely not. There is no scientific theory in creationism or intelligent design. There are no predictions in their "theories". Ergo, they do not belong in science classrooms alongside evolution, which has both experimental evidence and predictive power.

If a majority of Americans told you that you should jump off a bridge, would you do it?
