Newt Gingrich is the 2008 Presidential front runner
Newt Gingrich is one of the most important Republicans in the last 30 years. It was him and Reagan that started the Conservative Movement in America. Now the Republicans are sick and tired of moderate, John McCain Republicans. In a straw poll in Minnesota for the presidential nomination for 2008, Newt was the clear winner. While many criticize his "baggage" as a tough hill to climb, it is my opinion that he would do an excellent job as President. He has something George Bush will never have, a CONSERVATIVE backbone. He will stick to his principles. He is exactly what the Republicans need. He may not get the nomination, but even running as a candidate for the nomination will pull all of the candidates to the right.

Nice to see that you are a class act…typical angry liberal. I am an engineer. I am not a writer. I am just an American college student voicing my opinion. If you want to debate my opinions, go ahead. My goal here is not to impress with great writing skills. I am trying to raise awareness on certain issues. Most of these articles do not undergo any kind of drafting. They are just whatever I am thinking at the time... generally at lunch hour during work.
FYI, you will be taken more seriously if you keep a level head.

I have been gradually ramping up my readership. Look at the statistics. With an exception for last month, I have gone up every month (I was extremely busy last month with finals and had little time to post).

That's the beauty of the blog system. I am not a journalism major and people still read what I have to say. This blog is about my ideas in conservative politics. This is not an English course. Doesn't it pay to get the perspective of an engineer with a very analytical and logical mind? Doesn't it pay to know what the youth of our country are thinking?

Are people reading to undertand or support your views, or for pure enjoyment?
Do you have no respect for yourself and views that you would put forth top notch effort? Since your name is attached to this blog, it reflects greatly on the type of person you are. It would make more sense to have fewers posts of higher quality than a huge amount of posts that people cannot take seriously because you do not even demonstrate any effort yourself.

Conservatism started long before the later half of the 20th century. Chad, how many political science or American history courses have you taken in college?

I am not saying I don't put forth effort. I am saying that I do as much as time allows with my busy schedule. I am working full time and taking two courses this summer at two different colleges. My posts will not always be long or literary masterpieces, but my ideas get across. I provide my readers with something to think about. The amount of visits would reflect that. Some of my entries have lead to long discussions on the comment boards creating awareness to the issues.

If you really believe in what you are posting and you are trying to develop interest, why not put forth top notch effort?

I put forth the best effort that I can with my crazy schedule.

Chad,
the Google toolbar works great in checking spelling. It is what I use before I post, because it checks form fields. Hope it helps you, so people can focus on your ideas instead of your spelling.

If Gingrich can produce a balanced budget, reinstate term limits, and save the middle class from tax increases, that's fine with me. If he can avoid war with a dozen countries, that's fine with me. If he can stop government from intefering with our personal lives and asking for our ID every five minutes, that's fine with me.
