The Examiner outlines lack of media coverage of Bush's victories
This article shows the media's lack of desire to cover good news for Bush.
Bush has quietly been racking up small victories like these that seem at odds with the media’s conventional wisdom of a presidency on the skids. In addition to success with his nominations, Bush also is presiding over a booming economy and is even scoring some foreign policy advances, although Iraq remains bloody.

Lack of media coverage...duh it has happened to several administrations, so why should we listen particularly to Bush's. The media is there to find the stories that bring out the best ratings. Under Clinton, there were 377 federal judge confirmations, did each confirmation get hours of press coverage? Nope. Bush has 205 judges confirmed so far. Same thing, not everyone gets the same number of hours of coverage or "Let's go live to the white house for the swearing-in ceremony." By then most people would just watch the baseball game, or do a quick check on the news web sites, then go to bed.
Too bad you are talking about a booming economy over a mountain of debt. The neo-cons did not even want to give Iran nuclear power in any case, but at least Rice had the diplomatic sense to convince Bush to stay the course until every option is exhausted.
