Lack of reporting of WMD find is unacceptable
I cannot believe that on a day where we find out that Iraq DID HAVE WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION... here are the headlines:
CNN.com: Wildfires
MSNBC.com: Afghan leader bashing US
ABC news: US Troops facing Murder Charges
nytimes.com: G.O.P. Decides to Embrace War as Issue
latimes.com: Deal Puts Mayor on Verge of Major School Control
None of these news sites even MENTION that the justification for the Iraq war was NOT BASED LIES as Bush has been accused of. In fact, the WMDs WERE FOUND! That shows that the justification was based on the truth!
It is not like this story fails to come from a credible source. The AFP has reported it.

Also the article you site doesn't mention that these shells had probably been siting unused and unseen since before the Gulf War.
This is a quote from the Duelfer survey which debunked the Bush rationale for war and also acknowledged the existence of these canisters:
"While a small number of old, abandoned chemical munitions have been discovered, ISG judges that Iraq unilaterally destroyed its undeclared chemical weapons stockpile in 1991. There are no credible Indications that Baghdad resumed production of chemical munitions thereafter, a policy ISG attributes to Baghdad’s desire to see sanctions lifted, or rendered ineffectual, or its fear of force against it should WMD be discovered."
The reason it isn't being told is because it's old news.

I disagree. The gov't said in a press conf. that with small modifications, these could be used in the same way they were used for genocide. Apparently 5 of these when combined can kill 5,000 people.

I disagree. And so does the Defense Department:

Way to use a liberal propaganda site to make a point... sorry... that's just not an honest source of information.

Do you honestly believe that thinkprogress.org MANUFACTURED a transcript from Hannity and Colmes?
