What has McCain done to undermine the Reagan Coalition?

Economic Conservatives:
He voted against the Bush tax cuts not once, but twice
He is pushing for a tax on carbon emissions to curb "Global Warming."

Social conservatives:
He joined "the gang of 14" to try to stop conservative judges.

Small Government Republicans:
He co-authored the campaign finance reform that restricted free speech.
He helped to stop the Bush private accounts for social security.
He supported the senior prescription drug plan.

- hmmmm, John McCain did not want tax cuts without spending cuts because it might lead to $2 trillion debt.
He is pushing for a tax on carbon emissions to curb "Global Warming."
- Even Uber-republican George Bush acknowledges that something is going on with the environment and wants to fix it.

Social conservatives:
He joined "the gang of 14" to try to stop conservative judges.
- John McCain did not want George Bush to sneek judicial nominees onto the bench without Senate confirmation. It's called seperation of powers and it is in the Constitution.

Small Government Republicans:
He co-authored the campaign finance reform that restricted free speech.
- It is good intention made into a bad law. Money does not equal free speech.
He helped to stop the Bush private accounts for social security.
- I do not like Social Security either, but George Bush forgot to mention how is going to pay for his idea.
He supported the senior prescription drug plan.
- Yeah, those seniors have lived long enough... :-)
