City Xpressionz, Slavic Village Festival, and Silk opening highlight weekend...
Thanks to Heidi for the submission of this weekend's Urban City Xpressionz festival in Ohio City. The Dealfinder personally attended it last year, and can attest that it is worth seeing.
I apologize for the delay of the update this week. I have been extremely busy this week, and next week should be back on time (Wednesday) again. I also have a new email address (email@example.com) where people can email suggestions or comments about the blog.
I hope many of you are getting the word out about this blog… it's now up to 668 visitors through 3 weeks, with over 3000 hits in just over 3 weeks. I hope many of you that were able to take in one of the various festivals going on in the area last weekend before the weather made it difficult. There's plenty more in store this week, including a free screening of "Balls of Fury" (read below).

For the Broadway fanatic...be a Blossom Broadway Baby
If you’re the kind of person who belts out show tunes in the shower, you’re just the kind of person who might qualify to be a Blossom Broadway Baby at the September 1st concert, “Rodgers and Hammerstein on Stage and Screen.” WCLV’s Bill Rudman, whose program Footlight Parade is heard Saturdays at 6:00 PM, will introduce the concert from the stage. For a chance to win a pair of tickets, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
When you arrive at Blossom, you’ll have your picture taken with Bill Rudman and costumed WCLV hosts and receive your own Broadway Baby mini costume depicting a character in one of the featured musicals - State Fair, The Sound of Music, South Pacific, Oklahoma, The King and I and Carousel. Appropriately adorned, we’ll all sit together and dream of footlights and rave reviews while we listen to the Festival Orchestra accompany favorite scenes from musicals on Blossom’s big screens. And guys. You can be Broadway Babies, too. Obviously, a sense of humor is mandatory for both winners and their guests who will be costumed, as well.
