so, after several hours of work, i managed to make the new nav bar work in ie and firefox. I feel bad for all the years i only tested in IE, perish the thought. I actually turned 19 3 hours ago, i guess that means it's time to sleep.

Gotta love white text on a white background. Looks like your navbar isn't totally there yet. Look at the stylesheet for your answers.
On other topics. As I type in this box it wants to push off the left side of the parent DIV. There are no scrollbars so you have a width problem on the form, on the DIV, a clipping problems, or some combination of any/all of these. As evidence I submit that your calendar is being clipped at
Friday.
I'm entering this in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 but I see the same results in IE 6.0.2900.2180 xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158.
