Breakfast and The City
Good Morning Internet! I am sitting at my family's breakfast table, blogging on my older brother Steven's iBook (gosh!) We are making a pilgramage into the great city (my city) of San Francisco. It's very difficult to maintain a stream of thought inside this cloud of familial shouting and chaos.
Steven's girlfriend is here, she seems nice, if not slightly intimidated by the Neuman Clan. Surprising as steven is the most intimidating.

Battlefront II ROCKS
Last week I mentioned my anticipation about the new star wars game Battlefront II; I was pretty excited. The game has exceeded my every expectation. It is really quite amazing.
The space flight aspects of the game are fully integrated with the first person shooter play. Here's how it works:
1) Spawn a Pilot
2) Run to Your Hangar
3) Jump in a Fighter
4) Initiate Enemy Destruction Smoke Bitches
After you have satisfactorily laid the smack down on fighters, you can act out a classic Star Wars battle tactic, land in the enemies hangar, jump out of your fighter, and battle face to face with your enemy on board their own friggate. Best of all, you can even sabotage the enemies critical systems (shields, turrets, life support etc) from within. IT"S AWESOME! If you're really good at surviving, you can even steal an enemy fighter as you escape the collapsing enemy vehicle.
As far as this game goes, I highly reccomend it if you have the means.
Starting Fresh
Things are changing in the world of Neuman. Namely, I am changing majors. I've decided to stop beating my head against the wall and just admit to myself that I am good with computers, maybe I should major in somthing related .
I am switching to a double major in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science. The fun part is that the AI major doesn't yet exist. That's right, I am the AI department, or rather I will be if all goes well.
Wish me luck.
iPod Nano
In september, Apple released a product I actually approve of, the iPod Nano. I am not a fan of Apple hardware. Generally speaking, I find it to be overpriced gorgeous pieces of eyecandy that are highly incompatible with most of the world on purpose. The ipod Nano is no exception to this rule. So why, do you ask, do I like it so much? Three words: no moving parts.
The Nano contains 4 gig of solid state flash memory of the wicked fast variety. Flash memory is so superior to hard drives in mp3 players, no skipping, hardly any damage caused by impacts, you can run a usb flash stick through the wash and dryer and it will still work (this is becoming a sort of accidental standards test for me, the glo toob passed with flying colors!)
For once, Apple is taking a step in the right direction instead of two sideways and one towards the bank.
Star Wars Battlefront II
I anxiously await the moment later today when I tear through the packaging of one of the few computer games that rocks my socks so thouroughly that I am willing to buy it. Star Wars Battlefront II came out yesterday. It appears to be absoloutelyfreakingamazing. Every type of star wars battling combined into one (subscription free) game. Space battle, jedi battle, and character battles all rolled up into one. Goodbye real world, hello galaxy far far away.
