Humane Studies Fellowship
Humane Studies Fellowships are awarded to graduate students and outstanding undergraduates planning academic careers with liberty-advancing research interests. The Lloyd Trotter African American Forum Scholarship program is funded by GE employees and matching fund contributions are generously provided by the GE Foundation. The scholarship is awarded to rising juniors and seniors majoring in specified technical disciplines attending an accredited university geographically located East of the Mississippi River (Regions I – IV). This scholarship epitomizes NSBE’s Mission Statement to increase the number of Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. It is supported solely by NSBE members and private donations.
