MoroccoTours.org Business Scholarship

Qualifications
This scholarship is open to students pursuing business degrees in the following fields

* Business Administration
* Information System Management
* Marketing
* Finance
* Accounting
* Human Resource Management
* Entrepreneurship

Selection is based on academic history, extracurricular activities and employment history. Eligible students must be full-time students during the academic year the scholarship is received. Financial need is not considered.

Asian Women in Business Scholarship

Qualifications
Candidates for the scholarship must be female of Asian (includes those who can trace their ancestry from Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam) or Pacific Islander ancestry.

Candidates must also fulfill the following criteria to be considered:
* Have at least one or more of the following:
a) demonstrated a leadership role in a community or non-profit endeavor, or b) a record of entrepreneurial achievement
* Enrolled full-time in an accredited four-year undergraduate institution in the U.S. at the time of application and award
* Carry a minimum of 3.0 (out of 4.0) GPA at the time of application
* Provide most recent college transcript; semi-finalists will be required to provide their official college transcript
* Provide at least one professional recommendation
* Fully complete the AWIB Scholarship Application
* Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Wisdom Works Scholarship

Qualifications
This scholarship program is targeted at Juniors & Seniors completing their undergraduate college education. It is directed toward students
interested in studying sustainable leadership development in fields such as education, business and politics.

Deadline
June 15th

Interested students must complete the Wisdom Scholars application and submit two letters of recommendation and a copy of their college transcript. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or better.

SME Cleveland Scholarship

Qualifications
* You must be a Greater Cleveland area resident (Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit Counties) and a full-time student enrolled in a marketing or a sales discipline at an Ohio college or university.
* You must have a current minimum accumulative 3.0 grade point average.
* You must be enrolled in the final semester of your sophomore year or be in your junior year when you submit this application.
* You must apply the scholarship towards tuition costs.

AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students

Qualifications
To qualify, an applicant must:
· Have applied or been accepted into a doctoral degree program with a concentration in accounting
· Have earned a Master’s Degree and/or completed at least 3 years full-time experience in the practice of accounting
· Be a CPA or plan to pursue the CPA credential
· Agree to attend school on a full-time basis until attaining one’s doctoral degree

Berea Business and Professional Women Scholarship

Qualifications
- Available to female applicants 30 years or older by December 31, 2009
- Applicant must be a resident of Cuyahoga, Lorain, or Medina counties
- Seeking entry or re-entry into the workforce
- Pursuing a 2 year Associate Degree or 4 year Bachelor Degree at a North Central Ohio ACCREDITED College or University
- Demonstrated financial need

Deadline
Completed applications will be accepted starting January 1st
and must be postmarked no later than March 31st.

Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be eligible to enter the third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program at an accredited university, college, or institute at the time the funds will be received.
- Demonstrate achievement of an outstanding academic record.
- Demonstrate intent to complete a program in business and show outstanding achievement in business-related subjects, as recorded on the official academic transcript.

Vanguard Scholarship Program

Qualifications
To be considered, you must be entering your senior year of college in fall 2010; be a member of a racial minority; be enrolled full-time in a four-year accredited college or university in the United States; be pursuing studies in business, finance, economics, accounting, information technology, or the liberal arts; have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; and be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States.

Recipients will be required to submit other awards granted and supply their school's financial aid award letters. Scholarship checks are sent directly to your home address, made payable to the school on your behalf. Your scholarship can be used for tuition, fees, books, and supplies.

John L. Carey Scholarship

Qualifications
1. I will have obtained a liberal arts or other non-business related undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States prior to enrolling in my graduate accounting program.
2. I did not earn more than 12 credits in accounting or business during my undergraduate program.
3. I have been accepted into, or am in the process of applying to, a graduate program in accounting that is accredited by AACSB International or ACBSP. This program will enable me to sit for the CPA Examination. Students who are already actively participating in a graduate accounting program are not eligible for this scholarship.
4. I intend to pursue a CPA certificate.
5. I will be a full-time graduate (9 semester hours or equivalent) student for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011.
6. I am a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card holder).

AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship

Qualifications
The AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship program provides financial assistance to students who are majoring in accounting, finance, or information systems. These awards are intended to encourage students to consider careers in accounting and business.

A task force, composed of AICPA and RHI/Accountemps representatives, will review all qualified applications and select five scholarship recipients based on demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and future career interests in accounting and business. All applicants will be notified of the final selection by August 1.

Eligibility Requirements:
1. I am a declared accounting, finance, or information systems major.
2. I will be a full-time undergraduate (12 semester hours or equivalent) or a full-time master’s level student (9 semester hours or equivalent) at an accredited college or university in the United States for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011.
3. I have completed at least 30 semester hours (or equivalent) of college coursework, including at least 6 semester hours (or equivalent) in accounting.
4. I have maintained an overall GPA and major GPA of at least 3.0.
5. I am a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card holder).
6. I am not presently a CPA.
7. I am an AICPA student affiliate member (or have recently submitted a new member application).

Qualifications:
Minimum 3.2 GPA required (on a 4.0 scale)
Current College Sophomore, Junior or Senior NSBE member (Majors: Biomedical, Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, Material, and Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Operations/Logistics, and Business majors.
Must be a current, paid NSBE member
Must demonstrate an interest in employment with Johnson & Johnson.
Scholarship applicants must also apply for J&J employment opportunities to be considered. Applicants must complete an online application for J&J employment opportunities at www.jnj.com/careers
Must be willing and able to participate in an internship or co-op (if offer is extended)
Attendance at the National Convention Annual Awards Event in March 2009 is required.
