College Club West Scholarship for Women
Qualifications
1. Applicant must be 25 years of age or older.
2. Applicant must be enrolled in an educational program leading to a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree. Associate degree candidates are not eligible unless they are currently accepted into a bachelor's degree program.
3. Applicant must live in the Greater Cleveland area.

North Olmsted Women's Scholarship
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
• Age 25 or older by January 15, 2010.
• A resident of the City of North Olmsted and US Citizen
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a
2-year Associates or 4-year Bachelors Degree.
Deadline
Application must be postmarked or received no later than January 15th.

Charles D Whitmer Fund Scholarship
Qualifications:
Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident with verification-stamped I-551 unexpired
Reside in Cuyahoga, Lorain, Lake or Geauga counties, and be enrolled (or plan to enroll and attend), on a full-time basis, an accredited, four-year college or university; or be enrolled in a Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) or similar program leading to a commission in the United States armed forces (award contingent upon verification of acceptance for 2008-09 year)
Be willing to work, save and pay for a portion of your educational expenses during your university years
Show a significant degree of self-motivation, self-help, initiative, good work ethic and generally embody the entrepreneurial spirit

A letter of recommendation (from a person of your choosing who is not a relative)
A transcript or record of prior educational experience (submit high school transcripts if you have completed one year or less of study beyond high school)
A personal statement (essay of up to 600 words) that will help committee members learn about your personal history, perspectives, goals and interests. Please include a description of your education plans, career goals and how this scholarship could help you meet your goals. This is a very important part of the application because it helps committee members get a sense of your commitment to the eligibility criteria.
Awards are contingent upon submission of a letter of acceptance from the educational institution to be attended during the 2010-11 academic year.

Rev. A William Jamerson Memorial Scholarship
Qualifications:
Be enrolled or accepted at an accredited, Pell-eligible educational institution offering courses toward a degree or certificate or certification in vocational or technical training
Be a resident of the city of Cleveland or one of its bordering suburbs
Be enrolled or accepted at full-time status (a minimum 12 credit hours per term)
Have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) on a 4.0 grade scale
Be an active church member, endorsed by a letter of reference from your pastor

Qualifications:
Be a resident of the city of Cleveland
Be enrolled or accepted in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited, Pell-eligible educational institution for full-time (12 credit hours) or part-time (minimum six credit hours) status per term
Have a mental illness in one of the following categories: schizophrenia, mood disorders, or anxiety disorders
Have your treating physician's endorsement
Have household income of less than $100,000
Be a U.S. citizen or a legal resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (unexpired)

Qualifications:
African-American or Hispanic student or graduate of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District or a Catholic school in Greater Cleveland
Minimum grade-point average of 3.0
Enrolled or currently attending a two- or four-year accredited educational institution within the state of Ohio
Willing to participate in a voluntary mentor program with periodic reporting on academic activity
