New Postdoctoral Scholar: Dr. Liqun Zang

Dr. Liqun Zhang begins postdoctoral work with Profs. Jim Van Orman and Dan Lacks.

Dr. Liqun Zhang recently completed a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island, and arrived in January to begin postdoctoral work with Profs. Jim Van Orman (in Geological Sciences) and Dan Lacks (in Chemical Engineering). Dr. Zhang will be studying the properties of silicate melts under high pressures and temperatures using state-of-the-art molecular simulations.
