Nostalgia is a funny thing. It's amazing what you can look back fondly on and sigh, that you complained endlessly about at the time.

True, working at the University-run Helpdesk was an often thankless, frustrating and stressful job, but we had a damn fine team and were working actively for the bennefit of the greater University which gave a bit of a warm fuzzy.

Thinking about all of the great coworkers and students I worked with back then... and how some of my coworkers now where students who may have called me back when I worked the phones!

In the end, it's the people you remember. Not the stress and the problems or even the funny troubleshooting stories (wanna hear the one about the lady who couldn't open a 4 meg attachment because her computer only had a 1 meg harddrive?).

Ah memories. :) To Tom Germain, Jerry Yang, Peter Taylor, Shelli Snyder, Doug Jeanblanc, Sarah Meyer, Anthony Kosadinos, Tiki, Vince Concel, Matt Heimbach, Nick Rodgers, and many more whose names I can't recall at the moment: Thank you. :)
