This Weekend Was Insane Pt 1

There are so many stories from this weekend, I'm not sure I can remember them all.

So, I've been more or less coasting the last few weeks. I'm not really slacking off, but I'm not being an uber study nerd either. I'm just taking a break from many stressors in my life. I regret not making more entries in my journal. I've been keeping busy doing stuff. Anway, this weekend was definitely one of the better ones in recent memory.

I didn't think things would turn out so well on Friday. Right after physics class, I got really light-headed and my lunch wasn't settled to well in my stomach. I went by the office of my professor for my final class and told him I wasn't feeling well. I don't want my profs to think I don't care :-) I was scheduled to host a prospective freshman that night too, so I backed out of that at the last minute. Oh well.

So I went home, cleaned the room a little, and killed some time. I went to Chipotle with my fraternal big brother. We decided that we needed to do something exciting that night. It turns out that AXO was having their fall initiation that night. It is a well known fact that after their initiation ceremony, a lot of the girls go outside in their slips and run to the end of the street and back. With both of us being friends with a lot of sisters there, we thought we would like to show up and show our support, so to speak. So, we both grabbed lawn chairs, Kevin grabbed a big bag of nacho chips, and I grabbed a 40 of Miller High Life, complete with brown paper bag. We set up camp in a vacant plot across from their house and waited for them to emerge. After forty minutes or so, my 40 was nearly empty and we were both freezing. The door flung open and the girls emerged. About a dozen girls ran down the street in their slips with the rest staying behind and cheering them on. We were noticed by a few of the sisters and they came over to say hi. Needless to say, I was a little inebriated after consuming a 40. A few of them took pictures of us in our lawn chairs. I can't wait to get a copy! The girls were even kind enough to let us in their house and share in the celebration. They had some terrific casada cake. Yum! It was pretty cool being the only two guys in a house with 30 sisters dressed in formals. After that party died down, Kevin and I returned back to the house for a night of rest before the Penn. State trip. Little did I know my night was just beginning.

When I got back to my room, I noticed a bottle of alcohol was missing from my collection. I looked around and saw my bottle of 151 on a dresser in the back of my room by Ben's door. When I got a good luck at the bottle, I was shocked, because it looked like about four shots were consumed. I found the cap to my bottle in Ben's room, then set out to rescue Ben, wherever he may be. I found Ben downstairs in Nate's room with Amanda, a freshman he had met a week or two before and had gone out to dinner with that night (don't confuse this Amanda with the amazing Texan that I went to the Eagles concert with. To underscore this difference, I will refer to Ben's Amanda as psychobitch). Psychobitch took a fifth of Jack from Nate?s bar, held it up to Ben?s mouth and ordered him to chug. I looked on with amazement. I was pretty sure Ben could not chug Jack, so I didn?t intervene. My mistake. As I was watching this spectacle that appeared to be straight from the movie Animal House, Ben continued to chug and chug. I estimated he chugged about seven to nine shots of Jack before she took the bottle down. At least she had the decency to offer him Coke as a tracer. As Ben went to the bathroom to splash water on his face or something, psychobitch approached me. I was holding my nearly empty 40 in hand. She literally ripped it from my hands, held it up to my face and ordered me to chug. I forcefully took the bottle away from my face, as I don?t chug beer. I told her I prefer shots. Psychobitch responded by taking the bottle of Jack and held it up to my mouth. I drank a big gulp then again forced the bottle down. This girl was out of control! Trying to get rid of her, I told her I don?t chug at all. Psychobitch seemed disappointed in me, so she told me I needed to loosen up. She then licked my chin, grabbed my arm, and led me upstairs so we could both do a shot of something. We both did a shot of Jager. I refused to drink tracer when she offered. I didn?t want this girl getting too cocky. In the meantime, Ben was going downhill quickly. Needless to say, it was difficult for him to handle 3 shots of 151 plus however much Jack he consumed.

After psychobitch proceeded to flirt with about every brother, Ben still had enough consciousness and brain functionality to send psychobitch home. She won?t be invading our house anytime soon. Ben then crashed on his bed, a bunch of brothers went bar hopping, and I was left alone. I invited AXO Laura over to just chill?she needed to get out her house after the stressful week of planning for initiation. We talked for a while then Katie, Laura?s little sister in AXO, showed up. Eventually people trickled back in and everybody socialized in my room. One of our pledges brought some of his freshman friends back to the house (we really weren?t expecting to have people over that night, so we didn?t feel like partying too hard). At the end of the night (3 AM) I had to walk a few people back to their rooms and I finally crashed, hopefully getting a good night?s rest before the drive to Penn St. on Saturday.
