Countdown to 21

You summer has arrived when you spend four hours of a weekday cleaning your room and only manage to do about a tenth of it.

So, I guess the countdown is at six days now. I still haven't figured out exactly where I am going on Monday for my 21st. I definitely know what I am doing though. I already took the day after my 21st off, anticipating the necessary recovery time. Since I am taking the whole day off, I figure that if I don't have a hangover until 5:00 PM on the 25th, I didn't make good use of the day off. Then again, I could show up to work still buzzed. That might be entertaining. I think my employers would think it entertaining... just as long as I didn't make it too obvious.

Today was a rather uneventful day. After coming home from work, I chilled out for about an hour, doing nothing. Ben, Kim, a girlfriend of a now alumni, and I went out to Que Tal for dinner. When I got back around 8'ish, I spent the rest of the night cleaning my room. I can't believe all the dust everywhere! When cleaning, I realized a few possible birthday gifts. When going through my dinnerware, I noticed the absence of the most important piece of any dinnette set: the flask. Hopefully my fraternity brothers will pull through and get my a flask embelished with the fraternity's crest and my name. Continuing with the theme of drinking accessories, that blender (for fruit smoothies) and drink shaker (to mix the smoothies) seem to be great accessories this summer season.

I can't believe that I can't think of anything better to ask for. Surprisingly, I have no need for any new technological toys. I was toying around with the idea of asking for an MP3 player, but that would just deprive me of talking to people walking to and from and during class. Perhaps I will get some more summer, but professional clothing. An extra pair or two of khakis can't hurt anything. Also, Alfani makes some great shirts...

Anyway, it is getting late (I hate being a slave to demands of a normal schedule).

Until then...
