The Damn Weather
Well, Cleveland prevented me from going out on my bike today. Storms were imminent nearly all day, yet they held off for the most part. Still, it was enough to keep me from going out on the bike. All is well, as I spent the time after hanging out with the UG Admission crowd for an early dinner at McPanini's, a bar in Coventry.
Practically the whole crowd from work went out for dinner today. Six of us crowded in a car that had room for five. Ben was left sitting on Danielle's lap. McPanini's was running a buy one and get one free on burgers, so we had to take advantage. Three of us ordered the double cheeseburger, which has more meat than anybody should ever try to eat in one sitting. I can't believe I managed to down the whole thing plus two Killians without feeling too ickish. The good times shared at dinner made up for the lack of bicylage.
In other news, ITS decided to deactivate my computer's network this morning for excessive bandwidth usage. After a quick call to the help desk, I got it back. I can't believe they are so anal about the little bandwidth I used. The way I see it, if I am taking up too much network traffic, then reduce my available bandwidth. What do they do? Shut me off, that is what. The least they could do is warn me about matters. I would happily oblige to their requests. Go figure.
Anyway, I need to weed the garden out front before it gets dark. Until then.
