Slow Day

Posted at July 27, 2004 10:45 PM in .

It happened again. Mother nature spoiled my opportunity to go riding. With rain looming the whole day, I decided to play it safe and not go out today. Three days now without going out. I feel like a child deprived of his mother's love.

So what did I do with my time this evening? A whole bunch of nothing. I worked on my program for a few hours. I finally found an aspect of computers I have conquered yet: regular expressions. These things are so cryptic, but are equally powerful in what they can do. While on the subject of computers, you may notice the little random photo block I added to the site. It has managed to display quite a few picture I have forgot existed so far. Just keeping hitting reload: you are bound to find a few keepers.

So nothing much happened today. I found out that Monty Python's The Life if Brian will be re-released in theaters in celebration of it's 25th anniversary. Maybe it will overtake The Passion in worldwide ticket sales. Doubtful, but it is a nice thought.

Any ways, I just realized I haven't watched South Park in a while, so I'm going to catch an episode or two before I go to bed.
