What a Beautiful Day
The weather today is absolutely perfect. The temperature is fluctuating around 80 and there is a good breeze coming from the lake.
Of course, I made good use of the weather by going on a bike ride. Instead of doing my normal power ride, I decided to take it easy and just enjoy the day. Unfortunately, since it has been five days since my last ride, my body wasn't up for any type of ride. That being said, I still managed to do about forty miles. I went all the way out to 250th St. via Lakeshore. I then went downtown, a few blocks west of Browns Stadium. My only eventful moment on the ride came as I was heading down Edgehill. I was going about twenty-five miles per hour when some girl decided to pull out in front of me with her SUV. I crossed the double yellow line and rode up next to her, staring her down in the process. When she finally saw me, she planted her foot on the gas and pulled away. I hate it when people pull out in front of you for no reason. If I were a car in that situation, I would have needed to apply some serious brakage to prevent from hitting her.
In other news, I am excited about this week, for it is my last week of work. It is bound to be a busy one, however. On Saturday, I am driving down to DJ Jackal's wedding. He asked the fraternity to do it, and since I am stereo chair... Sunday marks the first day people can start moving into campus housing, so all of the brothers will be slowly returning. Next week will be spent thoroughly cleaning and improving the house, just in time for rush. It is going to be a hectic week, that is for sure. My only wish is that I will be able to enjoy it.
