The Wedding Bells Bells Bells
I am DJ'ing a wedding on Saturday. I have been neck deep in preparations.
The bride and groom have requested a wide assortment of 80's songs. I have no idea why anyone would want to listen to music from that decade, but hey, it is there wedding. My big problem so far is figuring out how to transport the stereo equipment down there. U-Haul is like $1/mile, which rules it out since it is a 400 mile trip. It looks like either Steve is going to pull through with his parents' van or I will have to rent a truck at Enterprise. I hate waiting to the last minute to figure all this out, but it is the way the pieces fell.
In other news, the Phikap arcade rocks. Hiroshi donated an old disk drive, so I could put more games on it. It now has an impressive collection of Nintendo and Super Nintendo games. In a few weeks, we will probably be putting Nintendo 64 and Playstation games on it. Hopefully others will be playing on it all the time so I don't get distracted from studying.
Tomorrow looks to be an interesting day. I have to finalize the plans for the wedding on Saturday. The group from work is going out to Little Italy to patronize the Feast of the Assumption. Hopefully I will have everything in shape so I may go with. It will be interesting to see how we turn the Olympic's opening ceremony into a drinking game. Perhaps we will drink every time they introduce a country who is our ally. Wait! Then we would be sober all night!
Until then.
