Today, I Consider Myself The Most Absent-Minded Person on the Face of the Earth

I came home from visiting Alison around 2AM early Wednesday morning. I was feeling a bit tired and was planning on getting some sleep. When I came back, there was a gathering on the 2nd floor and people were talking about what-not. Since I was still wearing my coat, I went upstairs to put things away. While in my room, I decided to quickly hack the b2Evolution to MovableType script I had been working on. Within five minutes, I had it working! I went downstairs to tell Ben, as he had expressed interest in using it. When down there, Steve comes up to me with some computer paper, hands me a few pages and says, "is this what your output looks like?" I look at him puzzled for a few seconds. He is obviously referring EECS 337 homework, but I refuse to believe it is due soon. I remember when the homework was assigned before Spring Break that the due date was many weeks away and I would have plenty of time to get it done. When Steve pressed for an answer, I was just like, "sure." I then went upstairs again to check the course website. Sure enough, HW #4 is due Wednesday, March 16. And to top it off, the exam is this Friday! So, here I sit at my computer having pulled an all-nighter getting the programming assignment due. The good news is that it looks like it is pretty damn close to perfect. Hopefully I can stay awake for the next three hours to turn it in...
